Purpose
The Playbook Journal was born from my own experience of losing structure in life. Growing up, school and sports gave me discipline, routine, and accountability. Every day had a plan, and every action had a purpose. But once that chapter ended, I quickly realized how different the real world felt.
Less than a month after graduation, I jumped into a 9–5 sales job. At first, I thought I was adjusting fine — but over time, I caught myself falling into unhealthy routines. I would wake up with no direction, count down the hours of my workday, and look forward only to the weekends. Without structure, my energy, confidence, and motivation slipped away. Almost three years went by before I finally admitted I needed to make a change.
That’s when I turned back to something simple: writing. Each morning, I wrote down the priorities I wanted to focus on. Each night, I reflected on how I showed up. It didn’t take long before this small habit transformed the way I approached my days. I started showing up with more clarity, discipline, and accountability — the same qualities I thought I had lost once my athletic career ended.
The Playbook Journal was built from that process. It’s not just empty pages — it’s a guided system designed to help anyone reset, rebuild structure, and create intentional habits that stick. It’s for former athletes who miss the discipline sports once gave them. It’s for students and graduates entering the next phase of life. It’s for professionals and parents juggling responsibilities, or anyone who feels stuck in old routines.
